Meals for Homebound Seniors
Grace Community Kitchen
Help prepare and deliver meals to homebound seniors in the Springfield area who can't cook for themselves.
Help prepare our community garden for the growing season. Plots provide fresh produce to 30 low-income families.
The Eastside Community Garden provides free garden plots to 30 low-income families, giving them access to fresh, healthy produce throughout the growing season. We need volunteers to help prepare the garden for spring planting.
Help clear winter debris, turn soil, build new raised beds, install irrigation lines, and prepare plots for families. This is a great hands-on outdoor project that makes a visible difference.
We're hosting three Saturday work days in April to get everything ready. Each session runs from 8 AM to 1 PM with lunch provided. Come to one or come to all three!
No gardening experience necessary! We welcome all skill levels. If you have carpentry skills for building raised beds, that's a bonus.
We'll connect you with Eastside Community Garden.
