Meals for Homebound Seniors
Grace Community Kitchen
Help prepare and deliver meals to homebound seniors in the Springfield area who can't cook for themselves.
Help sort, organize, and stock donated food items at our community food pantry serving 500+ families monthly.
Nashville Community Food Pantry serves over 500 families each month with groceries and household essentials. We need volunteers to help sort incoming donations, check expiration dates, organize shelves, and prepare family food boxes.
Volunteers work in our warehouse sorting donated food by category, checking expiration dates, stocking shelves, and assembling food boxes for families. During distribution days (Tuesdays and Thursdays), volunteers also help families load groceries into their vehicles.
Demand has increased 40% over the past year, and our volunteer base hasn't kept up. We're currently turning away donations because we don't have enough hands to sort and shelve them quickly enough.
We'll connect you with Nashville Community Food Pantry.
