Meals for Homebound Seniors
Grace Community Kitchen
Help prepare and deliver meals to homebound seniors in the Springfield area who can't cook for themselves.
Share your professional skills by helping job seekers craft effective resumes and prepare for interviews.
New Beginnings Career Center helps people transitioning out of homelessness, incarceration, or long-term unemployment find stable employment. We need volunteer mentors to help with resume writing and interview preparation.
Work one-on-one with job seekers to create or update their resumes, practice interview skills, and develop a job search strategy. Sessions are typically 1-2 hours and can be done in person at our center or via video call.
Our clients include formerly incarcerated individuals, people transitioning out of homelessness, veterans, and others facing barriers to employment. Many have skills and experience but need help presenting them effectively.
A well-crafted resume can be the difference between getting an interview and being overlooked. For people who have been out of the workforce, having someone believe in them and help them tell their story is transformative.
We'll connect you with New Beginnings Career Center.
